At Balance Studio we take privacy seriously. This policy explains who is responsible for processing your data, what information we collect, for what purpose and on what legal basis, how long we keep it and what rights you can exercise. All of it under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December (LOPDGDD).

1. Data controller

2. Data we process

We process only the data you provide voluntarily:

  • Contact data: name, email address and any information you include when writing to info@thebalancestudio.es or through a contact form.
  • Browsing data: technical and usage information collected through cookies and similar technologies, as described in the Cookie Policy.

We do not collect special categories of data (Art. 9 GDPR) nor, knowingly, data from minors.

3. Purpose of processing

  • To handle and respond to your enquiries, quote requests or communications.
  • To manage the professional and commercial relationship should you engage our services.
  • To ensure the proper functioning, security and improvement of the website.

4. Legal basis

  • Consent of the data subject when contacting us or accepting non-essential cookies (Art. 6.1.a GDPR).
  • Performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures at the data subject's request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
  • Legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and responding to communications received (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).

5. Retention period

We will keep your data for as long as necessary to handle your request and, where applicable, for the duration of the professional relationship. Once ended, it will be kept duly blocked for the applicable statutory limitation periods, after which it will be deleted.

6. Recipients

We do not share your data with third parties except where legally required. We may use service providers (processors) such as web hosting and, if you accept the cookie notice, Google Analytics for aggregate audience measurement. Typefaces and all other site resources are served from our own domain, with no third-party calls. These providers process data on our instructions and with appropriate safeguards. Where a provider is located outside the European Economic Area, the safeguards provided for in the GDPR will apply.

  • Rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure ("right to be forgotten").
  • Restriction of processing.
  • Objection to processing.
  • Portability of your data.

If you believe the processing does not comply with the regulations, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

8. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access, taking into account the state of the art and the nature of the data processed.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to adapt it to regulatory changes or to our services. The version in force will always be the one published on this page, with its date of last update.
