A think-and-do tank working on democracy through research, training and civic participation. They were producing substantial material and publishing it the way you attach a file: no hierarchy between the urgent and the reference, and nothing inviting anyone in.

A fixed-section site runs out of room the moment an organisation publishes twice a month. This one was sized against what they were going to publish over a year rather than what existed on handover, and it still has room.
3D only where the data is spatial
There is interactive modelling in the modules where the information has shape and is understood by moving through it. In the rest of the site there is none, and that absence is what makes the part that is there mean something.
Not one stock image
An organisation that publishes verified facts cannot illustrate itself with photographs that are from nowhere. It is an inconsistency a reader never names and always registers. Everything visual was built.
